INTERMEDIATE MECHANICAL or ELECTRICAL ENGINEER & DESIGNER

OVERVIEW

  • Deliver effective, professional, quality service at all times both in the office and when with clients.
  • Provide assistance to junior engineers, as needed, and support to senior engineers as they oversee projects from their genesis to conclusion with respect to design of various electrical systems. Tasks involve, under a licensed engineer’s guidance and management, performing most of the preparation work for project plans and construction, through data collection, calculations and drawings, while meeting project deadlines and balancing time to ensure that project deliverables are attended to in order of priority.
  • Create project layout & system drawings proficiently in AutoCAD, use enhanced writing skills in reports and other correspondences, and calculate lighting, power, and acoustic loads, where necessary, in load analysis software.
  • Understand and apply industry related codes and professional engineering standards.
  • Obtain high-level security clearance with numerous organizations, as required.
  • Possession of a valid P.Eng. or CET designation preferred.

JUNIOR MECHANICAL or ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

OVERVIEW

  • Deliver effective, professional, quality service at all times both in the office and when with clients.
  • Provide assistance to senior engineers as they oversee projects from their genesis to conclusion with respect to design of electrical protection systems. Tasks involve, under a licensed engineer’s supervision, performing much of the preparation work for project plans and construction, through data collection and drawings, while meeting project deadlines and balancing time to ensure that project deliverables are attended to in order of priority.
  • Become proficient in the use of AutoCAD, enhance writing skills, develop knowledge of system analysis and load calculations and gain a solid understanding of applicable industry related codes and professional engineering standards.
  • Obtain high-level security clearance with numerous organizations, as required.

SENIOR MECHANICAL or ELECTRICAL ENGINEER & DESIGNER

OVERVIEW

  • Deliver effective, professional, quality service at all times both in the office and when with clients.
  • Develop and manage clients and prepare proposals.
  • Design electrical systems, including but not limited to, lighting, fire alarm and power.
  • Supervise and manage junior and intermediate staff on projects from genesis to conclusion including evaluating their performance on preparation of work for project plans and construction, while ensuring project deadlines are met, so project deliverables are attended to in order of priority.
  • Provide quality control on all deliverables and apply superior writing skills in all communications and correspondences.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of industry related codes and professional engineering standards.
  • Obtain high-level security clearance with numerous organizations, as required.
  • Possess a valid P.Eng. or CET designation. (Note: Use of P.Eng. stamp will be required)
